Before his passing in 2005, the company’s founder gained over 40 years of electrical and communications construction experience. He was a licensed electrician in New York City, Nassau/Suffolk Counties, New York and New Jersey. He was a member of Local #3, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers from 1963-1977. During this period he advanced through the apprentice program to general foreman on a broad range of projects, providing him with the skills, vision and ability to serve as President of ADCO Electrical Corporation, Staten Island, New York and Secretary for Scholes Electric and Communications Company, Piscataway, New Jersey until his passing. Prior to entering the work force in 1963, he attended Dayton University.
Gina M. Addeo is Chairman of the Board at ADCO Electrical Corporation. With over 25 years experience in the electrical industry, Ms. Addeo has mastered crucial aspects of electrical construction, including estimating, project management, scheduling, and procurement. She graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Stevens Institute of Technology. Ms. Addeo has been honored as one of the industry’s leading women and was the first woman in New York City to attain a Master Electrician’s License. In January 2006, Ms. Addeo became the first woman to be appointed President of the New York Electrical Contractors Association (NYECA). She was awarded the National Electrical Contractors Association 1998 Leadership Award and remains active in numerous industry associations, including National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), The Zenith Group, Professional Women in Construction (PWC), and National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). She is a contractor member of the Negotiating Committee for Local Union #3 Contracts.
With Adco since 1983, in addition to her business development responsibilities, Ms. Addeo manages the company’s numerous charitable activities that contribute to the region’s quality of life and define Adco’s ongoing corporate commitment as a philanthropic leader. She is particularly active with the Eger Foundation through which The Richard and Gail Addeo Hospice Home was constructed, Mercy Home for Children and St. Dominicks. She has also initiated and managed many of the community based functions that ADCO has hosted throughout the years. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel/Restaurant Management.
Mr. Leiter began his career in the electrical and telecommunications industry in 1986 and joined Adco in 1989. His work at Adco has included the electrical and communications build-outs of Bank of America Trading floors, data centers, back office support, executive offices and conference facilities at 1 Brant Park, 9 West 57th Street, 1633 Broadway, 50 Rockefeller Plaza to name a few. Mr. Leiter has also managed projects in other trading and data facilities for Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Citigroup. His communications knowledge has also taken him into the transit tunnels entering New York City to make Police, Cellular, AM, FM Radio signal capable. His project management skills have also included infrastructure installations such as UPS, Generator and base building plants.
Mr. Leiter’ education has extended beyond academic to electrician apprenticeship courses, extensive code enforcement courses and holds certifications in various communication/data installations. He is currently proceeding with classes for LEED certification and holds a Master Electricians License with NYC.
Mr. Delfino is responsible for all operations of ADCO’s Elmsford, New York office for the past 8 years, providing electrical, data and telecommunications services for clients in Westchester County, New York and Southern Connecticut, reflecting the diverse geographical reach of this industry leader. Prior to assuming his current position Mr. Delfino served as ADCO’s Project Manager for over 15 years. He has been involved with projects that include the construction fit-out of many of New York’s brokerage firms and Fortune 500 companies including Solomon Smith Barney, UBS/Paine Webber, Goldman Sachs, Wachovia Bank, Ziff Brothers, BNP Paribas and Lehman Brothers for which he oversaw large area trading space fit-out, interior renovation and related infrastructure assignments. In Connecticut Mr. Delfino oversaw the build out for over 900,000 square foot data and telecommunications project for the Royal Bank of Scotland HQ located in Stamford CT. Mr. Delfino is a graduate of St. John’s University in Queens where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. In addition, he has participated in continuing education courses at New York University in Project Management/Electrical Construction.
Mr. Scimone, joined ADCO in 1982 and has excelled in all aspects of field electrical work from his initial title of helper to journeyman to foreman to general foreman to his current position of ADCO’s General Superintendent. He is currently responsible for over 450-650 men in the field and four Assistant Superintendents along with strengthening business relations and coordinating overall company operations with other fellow company Vice Presidents. He is very involved in coordinating all jobs from start to completion. He is certified with OSHA safety 30 hour and High Voltage Lock out Tag out and an expert with all union jurisdictions. He is a graduate of Bishop Ford High School in Brooklyn, Berk Trade School.
As General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Sussman oversees all aspects of ADCO’s ethics and compliance programs and transactional-related legal activities.
Mr. Sussman has experience both in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining ADCO in 2016, he was associated with the law firm Peckar & Abramson, P.C., which advises construction companies, subcontractors, and general contractors in the areas of corporate law, litigation, and regulatory investigations. While at Peckar & Abramson, he was the lead associate managing complex investigations and large-scale internal integrity investigations for corporate clients and personnel involved in civil and criminal regulatory matters.
Mr. Sussman began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, he was the lead prosecutor on cases involving cybercrime, identity theft, fraud, grand larceny, bank robbery, narcotics possession and sale, weapons possession, domestic violence, sexual assaults, and related violent crimes.
Mr. Sussman was recognized by the New York Metro Super Lawyers 2014 and 2015 as a Rising Star for White-Collar Criminal Defense. Mr. Sussman is a member of the Manhattan District Attorney Association and the District Attorney of New York (“DANY”) Alumni Association.
He received his law degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Alfred University. While attending Alfred, he was a member of the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team.
Mr. O’Sullivan is an experienced and respected veteran of the electrical industry since 1978. He is involved in ADCO’s Estimating, Project Management and Business Development and has developed the company’s comprehensive computerized estimating database and is personally responsible for the larger and more complicated electrical and telecommunications estimates. Mr. O’Sullivan is a third generation member of the electrical industry, and brings hands-on experience to every aspect of the business from installation to supervision and estimating inclusive of power utilities, Co-Generation, Natural Gas Facilities, Building Infrastructures etc. As part of ADCO’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of their clients Mr. O’Sullivan is a graduate of numerous continuing education programs in computerized estimating, fiber and communication installation, construction management, NEC and safety. Mr. O’Sullivan is an active member of the National Electrical Contractors Association, IBEW Local 400 and OSHA 30 Certified. He has also been a Journeyman Electrician for 32 years.
Mr. Celiberti has been employed at ADCO for over 32 years and has been honored for drafting a number of innovative, industry-recognized purchasing techniques that have allowed ADCO to create additional value for its customers. Among his innovations is a state-of-the-art purchasing system that has, as part of its program, direct links to various supply houses that allow for “best possible prices” for supplies and equipment bought by ADCO. In course of a year Mr. Celiberti oversees the purchasing of over $40 million in supplies and is responsible for the coordination of delivery to each job site. He is also responsible for the management of ADCO’s extensive fleet of trucks and automobiles. Mr. Celiberti attended Valencia College in Orlando, Florida and has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.
In addition to earning an industry-wide reputation for his role as ADCO’s Safety Manager, Mr. Occhipinti is also a long time master electrician and holds the license for Adco. A 19-year veteran of ADCO, he began as a project manager handling special assignments and providing customer service support. As the company’s Safety Manager he has created and implemented a sweeping series of programs that set new and exacting safety standards in this industry, protecting ADCO’s employees and giving ADCO’s clients the confidence to know their job site is safe. With multiple certifications including that of OSHA instructor, Risk Management, Respiratory, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety Awareness NFPA among a dozen others, Mr. Occhipinti also holds a NY State fire alarm license and has attended Rutgers University for industry relevant continuing education. Mr. Moskowitz is ADCO’s Chief Financial Officer. He has more than a quarter century of experience working with both private and publicly owned businesses. He began his career with Coopers & Lybrand, (currently, Price Waterhouse Coopers) and moved on to partnership at Goldstein Golub Kessler & Company, PC, one of New York City’s Top Ten public accounting firms. Leaving the world of public accounting, Mr. Moskowitz served as Chief Financial Officer of Queens Group and its affiliates, a $200 million multi-state printing and trucking organization, ultimately presiding over its strategic sale to its main competitor. In his current role Mr. Moskowitz brings enormous expertise, integrity and insight to the position of ADCO’s CFO. He is a graduate of Bernard M. Baruch College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, has completed the Executive Program for Growing Companies at Stanford University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
